The Coastal Highway of Guangxi
1. Market Situation:
Guangxi's southern coastal cities of Qinzhou, Fangchenggang, and
Beihai are the open coastalcities. The seaport group of Beihai
is the shortcut linking China's Southwestern inland region with
thesea, and according to the layout, it is to be built into a
demonstration zone for the opening up of Southwestern China, a
coastal industrial zone providing service to the Southwestern
China, an exported -- oriented processing industrial base, and
a front of foreign trade and international technical cooperation
for the Southwest. There are also rich tourist resources along
the coast and the coastal highway can link all the scenes to form
a large tourism and vacationing area.
2. Construction Scale:
The highway is planned to be 373 km in length. Its main road is
325 km long and the three branch roads are 481 km long. It contains
27 km speedway, l01. 3 km of grade -- A highway, 244. 6km of grade
-- B highway, and 20 bridges (a total length of 9,445. 38 m).
The highway will link all the coastal resorts, such as the Gold
Beach, the Silver Beach, and the Seventy -- two Brooks, and all
the coastal industrial zones of Guangxi.
3. Construction Place:
The highway is located along the coast in the south of Guangxi.
It begins at Dongxing, going through Fangcheng Port, Qinzhou Port,
Xichang, Beihai, the Silver Beach, Yingpan, Tieshan Port, Zhakou,
Shankou, Shatian, and finally ends at the mangrove reserve.
